Choose your bag size, answer some quick questions about your size + style, and we will hand pick goodies just for you. Or, subscribe for a mini closet refresh every 3 months with a Mystery Bag subscription.

We offer Mystery Bags in 2 sizes: Medium and Large.
$90 Medium Mystery Bags include $70 worth of Cake inventory + a $20 service fee. That’s usually 3-5 items that would originally retail for $140+ (MSRP). $150 Large Mystery Bags include $130 worth of Cake inventory + a $20 service fee. Large Mystery Bags are often 5+ items that would originally retail for $250+ (MSRP).

We’ve recently added a service fee to account for the time our staff spends curating Mystery Bags. This also helps offset additional shipping required or storage fees.

Subscribe to Seasonal Subscriptions in either size to receive a new Mystery Bag every 3 months for a seasonal refresh. Seasonal Mystery Bag subscribers will pay just $70 for a medium bag and $130 for a large bag. (We take off the service fees for seasonal subscriptions.)

Help us curate your bag by sharing your info with us when you purchase.
Before you check out with your Mystery Bag, you’ll fill out a short form with info about your style, size(s), and what you’d love to see in your Mystery Bag. 

On the form, describe your style in a few words. Let us know what size(s) you wear in brands that fit you well. (While measurements can be helpful, we can be more accurate when we know your typical size in a brand or two.) Also let us know if there are additional size considerations we should be aware of like, if you are petite, if arms/sleeves are often tight, or if you have a long torso.

We’ll do our best to include what you’re looking for based on our current inventory. Please note that we’ll do our best to avoid items you’re not interested in but cannot guarantee every request.

Mystery Bags are available for shipping nationwide or for pick-up in-store!
Shipped Mystery Bags are packaged in USPS boxes, tracked, and insured. You’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking once your Mystery Bag ships. Shipped Mystery Bags make take up to 2 weeks to be curated, processed, and shipped.

Pick-up Mystery Bags are usually available 3 days after purchase. You’ll receive a confirmation email when your bag is ready to be picked up along with some pick-up reminders. 

Mystery Bags are nonrefundable.
The joy of Mystery Bags is truly the surprise we’re packing up for you. If you’re feeling unsure or the “mystery” feels more stressful than fun, Mystery Bags probably aren’t right for you. Instead, you can shop with us in-store, in our online shop, in our lingerie and swim web shop, via Instagram stories, or even book in for a Style Session. (We offer Style Sessions virtually or in-store. Folks who are struggling to define their style or find their size tend to find tons of value in a Style Session!)
